Raynet presents cost-cutting RAYFLOW tool

Raynet, one of Europe’s leading companies when it comes to software management and especially to software packaging, has developped a standardized process and a software tool to monitor and keep control over this process. “This helps to cut costs of up to 18-20 % compared to usual monolithic packaging”, claims Ragip Aydin, Managing Director of Germany-headquartered Raynet GmbH.
Today, Raynet announced to demonstrate “RAYFLOW – the packaging workflow”, a tool to monitor packaging services processes at the PACKAGING EVENT in Amsterdam October 8th, 2009. The tool RAYFLOW is already been used in productive environments and has managed approx. 3,500 packages in 2008 in various projects. Among those is Symantec’s packaging factory as well as the largest migration project in Belgium’s financial industry.
„Rayflow – the packaging workflow“ handles different check-in locations (in branch-oriented structures) as well as different work-site locations (onsite-offsite-models) and addresses functions likeRaynet’s project manager in this project, Mr. Dr. David W. Bowser, will address functionality and advantages of the use of RAYFLOW in a keynote speech during the event and participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss RAYFLOW’s pro’s and con’s with Mr. Bowser.
Its already the fourth time, that the PACKAGING EVENT takes place in The Netherlands and this time its the well known Amsterdam’s ArenA the location to be. ArenA is the first stadium in the world with an underground passageway and the first stadium in Europe with a sliding roof.
Europe’s experts in software management will come together to exchange information and show state-of-the-art technology and services when it comes to packaging and the virtualisation of software.

Mr. Bowser enjoys a successful track record in implementing complex and large IT projects in heterogeneous environments. With more than 20 years in project experience, he is probably one of the most knowledgeable persons in Europe when it comes to architecting and implementing projects of this nature on time and on budget.
